Winter has decided to show up today. Yuck. The weather today was miserable. Cold and windy. Snowy and slick on the roads. What a great excuse to do nothing productive. Today I devoted my time to cooking, pining, bookfacing, trying to figure out my blog, and watching youtube videos. It seems only fair that I make a post on my blog then, right?
I made a banana toffee pie I stole from this website. It wasn't my favorite dessert, but it was good, and a great way to use up as few things sitting around in my food storage. Yay! And For dinner, Patrick and I made steak with mashed potatoes, YUMM! We decided it gave us a reason to use the hand made place mats we got as a wedding gift and the lovely crystal glasses Patrick got me for Christmas. It was a fantastic way to spend a quite Saturday night.
Simon's Cat is probably my favorite YouTube video today, and it has almost convinced me that I want my own cat. (Mostly because of how much Patrick laughed when we watched the videos.) It's good for a chuckle.
